Junior Racing
The Hawaii Youth Sailing Association (HYSA) organizes a series of races at different venues on Oahu every year. They are open to all junior sailors who sail El Toros or Lasers and are members of HYSA ($10). At the end of each year there are season's point trophies presented to the top three finishers in each of the seven classes in El Toros and two classes in Lasers. To qualify for season's points you must participate in at least 4 of the 8 events.
To join HYSA, fill out a HYSA membership and waiver forms and bring them with you to your first event. Click Here for HYSA membership and waiver forms.
If you would like a boat to use for the regatta, would like to help out with transportation, need transportation to the events, or have any questions -- we would like to hear from you.
